Precious to take over radio airwaves in Ghana

The Ghanaian radio industry has grown over the past 20 years, with new radio hosts and personalities emerging and surprising us with their talent.

Joy FM’s Doreen Andoh’s 22-year-reign as the queen of talk is unparalleled, but many other female talk show hosts have come. Let’s all make way as Ghana Music.com introduces Precious Osei Fordjour.

Precious’ as she is affectionately will soon be talking over the airwaves on one of the popular radio stations in Ghana.

The beautiful young lady says she had always wanted the opportunity to prove her worth on radio and perhaps allow others to also criticise her that’s why she is taking up this new task on radio.

Precious failed to name the radio station and the name of her program, but she promised that everything about her new radio show will be all over soon.

For Precious, she will be dishing out assorted and refreshing music interspersed with informative titbits and brain teasers to her listeners on her yet to be named program.

Precious developed the ability to sustain her listeners’ attention with her unmatched confidence on radio in her days in University. She has hosted a few campus event programs and emceed a few weddings

Veteran broadcasters such as like Tommy Annang-Forson, Kofi Tsakpornou, the late Dusty Wayne, Gabby Adjetey, George Laing, Ken Addy, Cox Tamakloe, Mark Okraku Mantey, Kofi Kum Bilson have given her thumbs after listening and watching her as a panelist on some TV and radio talk shows.

Interestingly, Precious does her own selection and plays them. This is evident as Ghana Music.com chanced on her with her laptop and a portable 1 TB external hard drive , all filled with music from various genres and generations before the interview.

Touching on the kind of music that will be on her radio show she said, “I play jazz, afro pop, hiplife, highlife, old school, R&B, soukous, calypso, Soca, funk, reggae and many more. she happily said.

Kwasi Bonsu, the young handsome looking CEO of FOKS Entertainment, who has been the backbone of artistes like Sarkodie, Ikonz, Dr Cryme, Tic Tac, Donzy, Nadjat, D-Flex, Piesie in the background scenes. Well it’s been rumoured on social media that Precious is dating Kwasi Bonsu. That is exactly what everyone is assuming is going on between the Kwasi and Precious. They have been spotted in public holding hands and attending events together for some time now. Well let’s wait and see what happens.

When asked what will make her stay at her new radio station for long, she said “Commitment is the key.
